T9 Token Budget produces planning estimates, not billing predictions. Read this before you rely on any number on this site for a financial or contractual decision.
What this tool produces
Every estimate is calculated from published input and output token prices, documented token assumptions for the selected use case, and the values you enter into the calculator. Nothing is fetched live from a provider at calculation time — prices are checked and updated manually.
What this tool does not produce
- A guaranteed billing prediction.
- A contract or commitment about what you will actually be charged.
- Financial, legal, or tax advice of any kind.
Why your real bill may differ
- Token counts vary. The exact number of tokens in a message depends on your real text and on the provider's own tokenizer, not just its approximate length.
- Prices change. AI providers revise pricing on their own schedule. Always check the "last verified" note against the provider's current page.
- Some costs are not modeled yet. Fine-tuning, embeddings, vision/image input, transcription, batch discounts, and enterprise volume pricing are not covered by the current calculator.
- Usage is not uniform. A monthly estimate does not model seasonal spikes, growth, or one-off usage bursts.
- Currency and taxes. Figures are shown as published by the provider and may not include local taxes, exchange-rate movement, or payment-processing fees.
Before you rely on a number
Verify the figure against the provider's own official pricing page before making a budgeting, contractual, or client-facing commitment. T9 Token Budget does not set, collect, or process any payment on behalf of any provider — the prices shown belong to the providers, not to us.
For significant financial decisions, treat this tool's output as a starting point for discussion, not a final figure.

T9 Token Budget is an independent estimation tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to AI21, Amazon, Anthropic, Cohere, DeepSeek, Google, IBM, Kimi, Meta, MiniMax, Mistral AI, OpenAI, Qwen, xAI, Z.ai, or any other AI provider referenced on this site. Provider and model names appear solely so cost comparisons are concrete.
Status of this document
